South-East Asia to get ready for two biggies as mega concerts led by Malaysian superstars set to rock Miri this May

South-East Asian music fans and concert lover have received an open invitation from Miri. Get ready for it this May, as the city will host two spectacular mega concerts, set to electrify the Land of the Hornbill.

Even better, both concerts are free for everyone to enjoy.

With the support of the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry & Performing Arts Sarawak and presented by TVS in partnership with Astro, these concerts not only showcase an exciting collaboration between two of the country’s biggest entertainment brands but also mark a significant milestone in expanding the creative industry’s presence to northern Sarawak.

Konsert MeleTOP TVS – 17th May, 2025

Taking place at the Miri Indoor Stadium, “Konsert MeleTOP TVS”, powered by U Mobile will kick off on 17 May 2025, followed by a special MeleTOP recording on 18 May 2025. For the first time, this beloved entertainment program steps outside the Klang Valley, with Miri proudly hosting this landmark event.

The star-studded lineup features the best of the music scene, including Dayang Nurfaizah, Hael Husaini, Stacy, Dolla, Floor 88, Namie, and more.

Expect a show-stopping blend of traditional Bornean culture and contemporary pop hits that will leave you wanting more! For those who cannot make it in person, the concert will be broadcasted live on TVS (Channel 122 on Astro, MYTV Unifi TV), Astro ONE and Sooka.

Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry & Performing Arts Sarawak (MTCP), and Minister of Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development Sarawak (MYSED) shared his excitement, saying, “This is a huge milestone for our creative industry. We’re proud to support such a major event in Miri. Congratulations to TVS and Astro for making this collaboration a reality.”
