KYOCHON 1991 Malaysia has become the first South Korean fried chicken chain to be certified halal by the Islamic Development Department of Malaysia (Jakim).

The brand announced that 15 of their restaurants, 10 located in Selangor, two each in Johor and Penang, and one in Negri Sembilan, are now certified halal.
