The singer, known for her award-winning album Original, also took to Instagram Stories to share photos with her wheelchair-bound father and snapshots of her new look.

Many netizens have since applauded Tsao's courageous gesture, praising her for being a loving daughter. Others also sent their well wishes, hoping for her father's swift recovery.
"When you first told me you wanted to shave your head, I thought you were joking. But after learning you went through with it to accompany your dad, you're really brave. My dear, you're awesome," said one of Tsao's friends.
Another netizen wrote: "This is so touching. You're such a filial daughter."
