Steeped in tea-inspired indulgences for Year of Snake


Start off the Year of the Snake with a prosperity toss at Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral.

Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral’s Chinese New Year offerings highlight a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation to welcome the Year of the Snake.

This year, the festive highlight presents unique tea-infused culinary and beverage experiences.

Steep yourself in festive flavours with Nook’s Brews of Prosperity Buffet, where tea takes centrestage in an array of creative dishes.

In collaboration with Roleaf, a Malaysian tea brand, the hotel has curated two signature tea blends for the festive season – Aloft Golden Hour, a black tea option, and Aloft Blossom Breeze, a refreshing tisane variation.

Indulge in Nook’s unique interpretations of traditional cuisine, such as Smoked Duck Slices served with Aloft Golden Hour Tea Jelly and Tisane Tea Salad, Roasted Leg of Lamb with Aloft Blossom Breeze Tea Crust, accompanied by roasted potatoes and mint sauce, and Aloft Golden Hour Tea-cured Salmon Gravlax Tacos.

For dessert, there’s Aloft Blossom Breeze Tea-infused Tiramisu or chilled longan infused with Aloft Golden Hour Tea.

These offerings are complemented by other festive staples including Braised Sea Cucumber and Jade Mushroom in Brown Sauce, Traditional Roast Duck with Hoisin Sauce, and Chilli Crab Pizza.

Nook’s Lunar New Year offerings include Brews of Prosperity Dinner Buffet until Feb 8, priced at RM158nett per person; Chinese New Year Eve and Day 1 Dinner Buffet, available on Jan 28 and 29 priced at RM188nett per person.

The festive lunch buffet on Jan 29 and 30 is priced at RM158nett per person.

The hotel also has its Scales of Prosperity Takeaway offerings with Authentic Roasted Duck Set Menu priced at RM288nett or Roast Portuguese Pi-Pa Chicken Set Menu priced at RM268nett.

These set menus feature signature Chinese dishes, including Fragrant Fried Jasmine Rice with Prawns, Flower Squid and Mixed Vegetables, Fatt Choy Braised Fish Maw with Fried Bean Curd, Braised Lo Han Mushrooms with Black Moss Dressing, Salted Egg Yolk and Lotus Paste Puffs, among others.

Yee sang selections include Golden Serpent Cordyceps Abalone and Salmon Yee Sang, Pearl Serpent Golden Cordyceps Tako and Snow Crab Yee Sang, and Jade Serpent Golden Cordyceps Pine Nut Yee Sang.

The yee sang creations start from RM108nett with pre-orders from now until Feb 8.
